GLOBAL HEALTH PROGRAM MANAGER

Energetics Incorporated is seeking a self-motivated leader to help us expand our consulting practice in the global health area. 

 

Job Responsibilities:Design and implement collaborative planning processes, such as roadmapping, to help address critical global health problems.Facilitate public-private partnership to leverage resources and improve global health systems.Develop processes to measure, monitor, and track progress on client funding investments in global health.Conduct economic and policy research to inform our clients? advocacy and commercialization activities.Develop processes for engaging leading researchers, funders, policymakers, and decision-makers in broad consultations to determine strategies for:Accelerating development of new health interventions (vaccines, drugs, etc.)Introducing emerging interventions into national health programsMaximizing the effective use of existing interventions in endemic nations

Qualified candidates will possess:Master?s degree in public health, economics, public policy or related field; M.D. and PhD candidates will be consideredAt least five years of experience in leading large, complex projects related to global health issuesDirect experience working with the U.S. National Institutes of Health, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, World Health Organization, or other leading organizations engaged in global health activitiesExperience interfacing with a diverse range of stakeholders in the global health community, including funders, research providers, public-private partnerships, national health programs in endemic countries, and global health organizationsOutstanding verbal and written communications skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamUp to 30% domestic and international travel may be requiredFluency in English

Ideal candidates will also posses:Past experience working in developing countries on health issues Specific experience working on issues relating to HIV/AIDS, malaria, and/or tuberculosis Experience in meeting facilitation and mediationFluency in French
