Training and Development Manager - Mountain View


This position is based in Mountain View, CA.

Google's world-class Online Sales and Operations team is seeking a Training and Development Manager who is flexible and adaptable to a fast-changing, constantly-evolving environment. Google is seeking someone who will manage our internal training team and move our organization to the next level of professionalism, knowledge and skill development. Responsibilities:Evaluate and strategize all existing training programs in use throughout Google's online sales and operations workforce.
Strategize and develop multi-platform approaches to deliver new and ongoing training needs with maximum impact and minimal work disruption.
Research, strategize, create training/evaluation materials and platforms for effective customer service, new products roll outs, client relationship building, workflow enhancements, skills and job function training.
Oversee the new hire and continuing education programs.
Administer and monitor effectiveness/ROI of training programs.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree (MBA, Ed. Tech., Ed. Psych, Org. Behavior) a plus.
7+ years of facilitation, training, and organizational development experience.
5+ years of managing experience.
3+ years internet industry experience preferred.
High-tech product training/development experience necessary.
Creativity and the ability to develop and implement new ideas and processes.
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Strong oral and written communication skills and talent to provide leadership and motivation to the team is critical.
Very strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Background in sales/operations and customer service fields preferred.
Knowledge of and experience with multiple learning delivery channels.
Multi-location experience preferred.
Experience in a rapidly-growing, fast-paced company a plus.
