Job Description
This position will be responsible for new product development for our Access Systems product segment which includes the needleless sets used in combination with electronic infusion pumps. As part of the Access marketing team, this emerging leader will manage the upstream marketing aspects for this portfolio. Primary responsibilities include:
1.Determines clear and specific priorities for the development of new products and product enhancements by defining customer needs. Generates next generation product development roadmaps for a platform/ product system.
2.Monitors competitive and industry trends and translates that into actionable programs to drive current and future products.
3.Responsible for tactical implementation of key market research programs such as Voice of the Customer to develop marketing requirements for new products.
4.Leads clinician product advisory groups to support new product development.
5.Lead cross functional development team to ensure business and customer needs are met in new product development.
6.Will develop product launch and go to market strategies including branding and positioning for new products.
7.Develops recommendations on appropriate prices for new products and on pricing and positioning strategies
8.Will need to work with electronic infusion pump manager to ensure future product complements the hardware product portfolio, ensures growth through customer retention and market growth opportunities.

Job Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline is required with an MBA strongly preferred. He/she will have over 3 - 5 years of experience in the medical device industry. Candidates will have experience in marketing where they have developed strong leadership, strong analytical skills and relationship management skills in a matrix and/or global environment. Individuals will need to demonstrate sufficient technical and intellectual capacity as a marketing lead to develop competitive 'next generation' products with previous experience in a direct or matrix capacity
