Jr. Project Manager

JOB OBJECTIVE: The Jr. Project Manager will be responsible for managing different initiatives & projects and will be held responsible for the timely completion and the quality of the work produced by the project teams that they manage.

 

GROWTH POTENTIAL:  Excellent opportunity within our Information Technology Department!  Due to the unique nature of our Project Manager Group, Jr. level Project Managers will need to learn our business and process methodologies.  Once well versed in this area, promotion to Project Manager will be considered.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

?  Project Management Responsibilities:

 

o Ensure the successful completion of assigned projects

o Ensure that the project team members are aware of project milestones and deliverables

o Manage the scope of the projects

o Resolve any issue that may hinder project success

o Execute/implement the appropriate communications plan

o Ensure that the appropriate processes and methodologies are adhered to

o Maintain project documentation

o Effectively lead the project team, maintaining good morale, etc.

o Assist project managers and senior project managers in collective project tracking

o Represent the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring quality customer service

o Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures

o Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company

 

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

 

?  Good understanding of FEI and its business operations/practices

?  Strong PC skills

?  Strong time management and organizational skills

?  Strong leadership and management skills

?  Expertise in project management processes and methodologies

?  Possess good, general business and technical knowledge

?  Strong verbal and written communication skills

?  Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of associates

?  Proactive approach on the job

?  Facilitation?able to work within a group/team environment

?  Receptive to some travel

 







QUALIFICATIONS:

 

?  Minimum of 5 years professional experience in total

?  Minimum of 2 years experience in a project environment

?  Minimum of 1 years project management or leadership experience

?  High proficiency with Office Software

?  Familiar with Project software and methodologies

?  BA or BS degree preferr
