General Summary: Responsible for implementing and facilitating process improvement initiatives across the organization, utilizing LEAN and Six Sigma principles and techniques. Identifies opportunities and conducts continuous improvement projects in order to achieve objectives and results. Provides industrial and process engineering support for all functional areas. Provides leadership to build a process improvement program and implements throughout the organization. Previous experience in a similar position is required in order to be considered for an interview.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides support, leadership, and training to functional departments in identifying, planning, and implementing process improvement projects.
Works with functional departments, finance, and executive management in assessing, tracking, and reporting the financial benefit of process improvement projects.
Actively leads cross-functional teams in problem solving on selected projects to reduce cost, increase productivity, increase customer satisfaction, and improve financial return.
Faciliates various Kaizen (continuous improvement) events in a team setting to drive to desired outcomes.
Documents and implements improved work methods, processes, procedures, and work standards.
Continuously generates new ideas to improve processes, services and efficiency.
Develops process and value stream maps.
Conducts complex process analysis, ie. non-value analysis, etc.
Performs financial analysis, including activity based costing and time-based costing.
Implements continuous improvement projects using change management tools, focusing on process and cultural changes.
Develops and implements change management programs throughout the organization.
