THE OPPORTUNITY?

????????? Plan business meetings with a total room block of 200 room nights or less.

????????? Plan and execute special event; such as retirement parties, Executive Officers? dinners.

????????? Order gifts (based on appropriateness to meeting location and budget).

????????? Order and sort awards to be presented at specific functions.? Handle distribution of awards to those not able to attend.

????????? Meet Your Resources Function contract.? Pre-meets with all departments confirming items such as attendance, signage, handouts, set-up and audio/visual requirements.? Conduct on site set-up of each exhibit.? Arrange and publish a rehearsal schedule for all main platform and workshops.

????????? Order and ensure that meeting materials are present and distributed at sessions.

????????? Oversee onsite operations including meeting space accommodations and meal arrangements.

????????? Respond to agent inquiries about executive council meeting arrangements.? This includes providing information concerning room arrangements, reimbursements, agent status, family attendance questions and travel.

????????? Serve as a team member alphabetizing and merging program listings for various council meetings.

????????? Prepare and distribute attendee listing providing such information as arrival/departure dates, hotel arrangements and meeting space.

????????? Input training attendee information into database and distributes confirmation letters.

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED?

?Bachelor?s degree in Recreation Travel and Tourism preferred or equivalent business experience.Strong knowledge of NYL corporate structure and culture meetings.Service oriented and responds promptly, accurately and courteously.Professional composure.Experiences and seasoned Council Team Member.
