Market Contractors, LTD. is a dynamic, results-driven company of commercial construction professionals located in the Northwest covering all States west of the Mississippi. For the past 27 years, we have been working with some of the best names in the industry and specialize in providing a comprehensive package of services through Program Management, Design, Construction, Retail Fixture Manufacturing and Facility Maintenance. Our vertical markets include financial, retail, restaurant, and health services tenant improvements and remodel roll-outs. We are expanding and have an immediate need for a Construction Program Manager who has the desire to be part of our outstanding team.

Ideal candidate will:

? Be personable, responsive and possess an ability to develop business immediately in the local market.
? Possess industry experience in providing professional services as a client representative, Construction Manager, Construction Project Manager and Estimator and managing teams of people.
? Exhibit a high sense of urgency and capable of setting a fast paced environment.
? Lead our Seattle office to further develop our market presence.

Responsibilities to include:

? Program and Project Management, client management and team leadership.
? Liaison between clients and company departments.
? Responsible for ongoing client satisfaction. Develops relationships with, and ensures the appropriate participation of, key client stakeholders and client executives.
? Maintains awareness of the current industry environment that shapes opportunities for client solutions.
? Single point of contact on all program/project issues from successful kick-off through delivery and startup.
? Sets program/project quality and performance standards.
? Successful, timely and cost effective execution of secured projects.
? Ensure completed projects on time, on budget and meet or exceed specifications & customer expectations.
? Create and maintain overall program/project tracking reports, schedules, controls cost and billings in a fast-paced environment.
? Negotiate and manage all program/projects cost, change management and schedule revisions.
? Manage complex, multi-track projects or small-scale programs to an acceptable level of risk by balancing scope, time, cost & quality while maintaining a positive environment that promotes individual development & high performance standards.
? Establish & maintain program/project communications. Oversees program management, design, permitting, budgeting and project management of client?s consultants and internal team.
? Oversees development of program/project deliverables.
? Sets program/project quality and performance standards.
? Maintains program/project tracking and information systems.
? Assist Purchasing in expediting major buy out of lead items including clients? furnishings, fixtures & equipment (FF&E).
? Ensures the use of best practices and a learning database for improvements from previous program/projects.
? Participates in, and assists with, company events such as training & internal initiatives. Contributes to the ongoing development of the Program Management Department.
? Actively shares knowledge & learning from project experiences.

Job Skills & Requirements:

? Bachelor?s degree or equal experience required.
? 5 years project management experience in successfully delivering projects in preferably a client-service organization.
? Good knowledge of Retail Tenant Improvement Construction and client management.
? Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously (preferably in an integrated program).
? Accountability for budget or client review.
? Advanced problem solving skills, business skills, solid verbal & written communication skills, excellent relationship building skills, as well as strong leadership and team management skills.
? Solid understanding of project management tools & approaches to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects and the flexibility to lead diverse and dynamic teams to deliver balanced integrated solutions to our clients challenging business problems.
? Ability to mentor and coach project team members as appropriate.
? Above average computer literacy. Our software we utilize daily includes Timberline Project Management, Estimating and Accounting; web-based project management collaborations; MS Office, Project, Access and Goldmine.
