Manager: Incentive Planning & Design - Product Support

Work in partnership with sales team to establish overall customer value proposition and competitive strategy.

Communicate product functionality and technical details to clients and internal sales team.

Share best practices among colleagues and use consultative sales and technology knowledge to recommend client solutions.

Must be able to demonstrate American Express value to clients through product demonstrations and presentations.

Maintain awareness of market conditions and competitive landscape

Research and effectively convey the value of American Express solutions and how they best meet the client's business objectives.

Must possess strong relationship management and skills with demonstrated ability to establish, maintain and deepen relationships with all internal and external levels within the organization and client base.

Develop creative and innovative solutions to address customer requirements.

Continue to support American Express value proposition by revising, reinforcing and continually communicating our value proposition.

Collaborate with technical team and partners on product development teams to determine and prioritize product enhancements which meet the client's needs.

Assist Sales team with RFP activities and research.

The incumbent should be highly analytical and consultative with 3+ years of recent and relevant product development experience coupled with having developed and delivered successful product demonstrations and sales field training.

Proven success in being customer-focused and results driven in an environment that requires a high degree of coordination and cross functional alignment. Should possess strong understanding of E- Procurement; knowledge/experience of Technologies and/or Operations is highly desired.

Must be compelling in articulating product value and addressing customer requirements in new and innovative ways.

Recent project management experience which includes having been in a Lead Role for a minimum of 2 years; must have identified, analyzed and documented detailed business requirements and thrive in a fast-paced, results oriented environment; Proven ability to deliver on tight timelines while managing multiple initiatives in parallel.

Experience in managing vendor relations and driving superior results through proper management of vendor timelines and deliverables is required.

Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills are required.

Proficiency in MS Office: MS Project, Power point, Word and Excel.

Bachelor's degree is preferred, MBA is plus.
