Within RTSC, Logistics and Training Systems (LTS) business unit accounts for half of the business with approximately 5500 employees. LTS is an $850 million business unit made of up 6 business areas focusing on providing training, logistics and supply chain management expertise, particularly at difficult or remote sites. The Mission and Systems Solutions (MSS) business area which focuses on providing technical, training and logistics services to military and law enforcement operations across the globe is where this position will reside.



Job Description:




Candidate must have 10 years overall management experience and 4 years related operations program management experience. Selected candidate must be familiar with current status of operations within the U.S. Army and or US Air Force. Candidate should have former experience in logistics for base installation support operations. Selected candidate must have proven demonstrated experience overseeing large installations to include all logistical, and program functions. Must have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work through complex situations/issues. Ability to lead a team/organization framework to include finance, supply chain, human resources and all reporting managers. Will be required to comply & ensure that all reporting management team adheres with Raytheon Company standard practices, i.e. completion of time input, booking travel on Raytheon Travel Online, etc. Candidate must be able to secure a U.S. Passport as you may be required to travel both CONUS and OCONUS. Must hold a valid US Driver's License. Must posses a current Secret Security Clearance.

Required Skills:

Must have 4 years of related operations program management experience with 10 years overall logistics management experience. BA/BS degree required. A minimum of 6 years work experience can be substituted for a degree, in addition to the above required experience. Previous Base Installation experience a must. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills a must. Experience in using Microsoft Office and Project applications. Must have a current Secret Security Clearance.

Desired Skills:

Possess excellent self-management and organizational skills. Experience in analyzing and resolving complex problems relating to operational considerations, base installations, and logistics. Current in latest project planning/management tools and techniques. General knowledge of six sigma practices. Program Manager certification a plus.
