Outstanding Opportunity for Engineering Design Manager - Medical Devices

We are currently seeking a talented engineering leader for an emerging leader in the development of non-vascular interventional stent technology.  This is a management opportunity to lead the overall engineering design of several technology platforms including cross functional leadership with manufacturing, regulatory, quality assurance, sales and marketing.

 

Our client is a start-up working on cutting edge technology in the stent industry.  They are a well funded, innovative five year old company with sales generating both in the US and abroad.  As the company is small and flatly organized, this person will have cross functional duties and will be highly visible.  This offers the right candidate an opportunity to gain a tremendous amount of experience with new technology.  Our client is located in a top-25 metropolitan city on the east coast. 

 

The essential position requirements include 2 plus years in engineering product development and design of Class III medical devices like guidewires, stents, catheters, or orthopedic implants.  Other requirements: BS or MS degree in engineering; Quick problem solver; Design experience; Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
