PROJECT CONTROL SCHEDULER

Basic FunctionPerform all activities related to schedule for capital construction projects, including standard reporting processes, data analysis and management reports.

 

Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesPreparation and distribution of project schedule reports and analysis to management and the Project Team.Facilitate the collection and reporting of man hours and commodities.Integrate engineering and contractor schedules, manpower requirements, time sheet information, etc. with the project schedule.Participate in the preparation of project percent complete reporting.Perform maintenance and regular update of the schedule.Maintenance of the schedule work breakdown, task breakdown, work sequencing, and incorporation of duration and manpower estimates.Alert the Project Team of potential schedule trouble areas for pre-emptive corrective action.Provide management with early warning reports and information so that issues and slippages may be mitigated or avoided.

 

Skill and Knowledge RequirementsBS degree in Business Management or Electrical Engineering with experience in the area of controlling construction projects.Equivalent experience of a minimum of 5 years in the area of project control of major construction projects.Proficiency with MS Access and Primavera.Successful candidate should possess strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills, the ability to meet goals and deadlines, and motivate the Project Control team.
