Product/Project Engineer

BS/BA or equivalent experience required. Project experience in Telecommunications industry required. Must possess 5+ years of project management experience, preferably working with in house as well as 3rd party resources. Good understanding of Microwave site layouts and Towers and Telecomminications equipment.
IP knowledge is an asset.

***Candidates must have some experience with Microwaves***

Qualifications Summary/Job Description:

Responsible for managing project schedules within the assigned budget, timeline and Customers? requirements. Responsible for customer project scheduling including but not limited to product ordering, managing field resources and resolving technical aspects of the project. Tracks Field performance against schedule. Supports the Program Manager in managing the overall project schedule, prepares Statements of work and subcontract RFP's and assists with customer meetings. Provides daily project management: budget and schedule performance, risk mitigation planning, problem identification and resolution. Interfaces with Customers, Vendors, Program Management team(s) and Sales Teams on a daily basis.
