Professional Services Consultant

Summary:

 

Excellent opportunity for a customer focused, high energy, solutions oriented consultant to join a growing professional services team. The consultant will be responsible for leading and delivering complex customer technical projects involving implementation, custom integration, knowledge transfer, training, and support as prescribed by work agreements. The consultant will also support the development of the best practices and process definition for the Attenex users. Tracks the effectiveness of the programs(s)/solutions and makes process/strategy improvement recommendations. Uses project/program and management skills to gather requirements and to establish and document work agreements with customer.

 

Responsibilities:Excited to deliver product integration, implementation and training at customer sites Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills Excellent software design/development skills and technical judgment Consults with customers and partners on process, workflow, and infrastructure optimization Ability to work with customers, listen to their input and define requirements Highly motivated, able to work independently and complete development assignments with minimal supervision Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills Provides support for the development of proposals and client communications Ability to creatively troubleshoot software problems Energetic and resourceful

 

Requirements:B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent 5+ years of experience in a technically oriented, client-facing role - sales engineer, technical manager, consultant 3+ years experience architecting and designing complex systems 3+ years experience creating SQL queries 2+ years experience direct customer contact developing custom applications Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows UI and graphics tools and systems Exemplary communications skills, both verbal and written Must have a customer focused attitude Rock-solid trouble-shooter, creative problem solver and posses the ability to learn quickly Self starter, independent worker, can-do attitude and team player Prior experience working in a field service or support organization Green Card/EAC or U.S. citizenship Frequent Travel will be required to fulfill above responsibilities (50%) Principals only: no recruiters and no phone calls
