Program Manager

Crane Electronics - Albuquerque aka General Technology Corporation (GTC) has an immediate opening for a Program Manager.

 

GENERAL SUMMARY:

 

Manage program to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with customer and/or specified objectives

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1.  Plan and develop methods and procedures for implementing program.

2.  Direct and coordinate program and assist personnel responsible for specific functions or phases of program.

3.  Keep upper management and manufacturing personnel informed of changes, deviations, problems, etc., connected with program.  This may occur either by verbal or written reports.

4.  May direct and coordinate personally or through subordinate personnel, activities concerned with implementation and carrying out objectives of program.

5.  Review reports and records of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified program objectives.

6.  Suggest modifications or changes which may be needed in order to keep production/program on course.

7.  Responsible for keeping within budget constraints specified and suggests ways to reduce costs without sacrificing quality.

8.  Visit customer sites when required.

9.  Perform related and other duties as assigned.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

1.  Must be computer literate.

2.  Excellent communication, interpersonal and telephone skills.

3.  Must be able to convey and receive detailed or important oral instructions.

4.  Proficient in determining, evaluating, planning, and implementing processes.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

 

Normal inside working conditions.  Some travel involved.
