Program Manager, Home Entertainment Division

Requirements
Working as part of the Program Management group, you will be responsible for program management of a variety of outsourced product development projects and accessories for the Home Entertainment Division.

You will lead a cross-functional outsourcing team and manage projects from the concept phase through the definition, sourcing, development and launch phases for outsourced new product development initiatives. You will have primary accountability for the entire program with responsibilities that include establishing program plans and objectives, ensuring time-to-market, managing project investment, risk management, team formation and communicating with executive and upper management on appropriate approval milestones and status updates. You will be expected to effectively communicate, manage and resolve internal quality, engineering, business, marketing and sales concerns and effectively balance those with the supplier's development path to assure an effective product and business result.

Skills
Key skills will include:

understanding of a broad range of engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, acoustics, plastics, software, manufacturing,) experience with offshore product development processes, sourcing and manufacturing, proven ability to manage technical development programs, good general business and financial skills. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills are a must. Significant travel (domestic and overseas) may be required.

Education
An ideal candidate will posses a Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 10 years experience in a leadership position in product development.
