Program Manager for Food and Nutrition Services - Education K-12

ARAMARK Education K-12 delivers award winning, world class managed services to private and public school systems across the United States.  Our experts deliver exceptional food, nutrition and facility management services to include maintenance, custodial, grounds, energy, construction management, building commissioning, food management (production and delivery).  

The Program Manager will lead the development, implementation and training support associated with the systems, tools and processes that enable consistent execution of core food and nutrition service operating standards while ensuring that all initiatives are 100% field ready prior to launch.

 

Essential Functions:Lead the development of standardized systems, tools and process that enable consistent field execution of core operating standards Act as the voice of field operations on cross-functional project teams to ensure all initiatives are 100% field ready prior to launch Support training implementation and field cascade process to ensure executional excellence Develop strong relationships with field operators and act as a conduit for on-going field feedback Be seen as the Food & Nutrition Services expert within ARAMARK Education 

Reinforce field focus and servant leadership mind set as it relates to supporting the front line in everything we do

 

Status and Scope:Creativity in previous work history that will support the future design of the Education Food and Nutrition Services business model. 

Understand, analyze, and develop operating initiatives for new and/or existing business with expertise in food service.  XLOB food service experience is a plus.

 Self-directed individual with the ability to influence without authority Working relationships: Functional VPs/Staff, Operating VPs/DMs, XLOB project teams, corporate task forces

Undergraduate degree required; MBA a plus Prior experience with an existing ARAMARK account or similar engagement with at least 5 years experience in food service operations at a multi-unit level Proven ability to drive for results and find creative yet scaleable solutions to everyday problems Strong attention to detail, leadership through influence and process orientation required. Experience in training development and/or delivery in a distributed services operating model preferred. Previous successful “start-up” and on-going operating experience with focus on people capability, operational performance, client/customer satisfaction and financial results. Good communication skills (written and verbal). Strong facilitation and training skills Good computer skills with proficiency in MS Office. Self-motivated and a self-starter. Strong presentation skills. Ability to travel 30-50% of their time. Additional skills and traits:AnalyticalDetailedPolitical savvy
