Ulticom?s Program Managers are responsible for the planning, organizing, and leading complex customer development projects. This position requires skills in managing cross-functional, multi-location development teams. Ulticom?s Program Managers provide the single point of contact and integrative responsibility needed to ensure that projects are managed effectively to ensure a successful delivery.  They also provide timely and accurate status reports to management, and coordinate efforts with other departments to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.

 

The Manager of Program Management is responsible for the high-level management of sustained delivery programs.  The management responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating efforts amongst the different functional groups; ensuring schedules are met in a timely manner within budget in accordance with quality standards and processes.

 

 

Program Manager Responsibilities Include:

 

? Creating and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets, and assessing risks. 

? Resolving scheduling conflicts and issues.

? Ensuring clear communication of scheduled activities and customer commitments internally throughout the organization.

? Supporting Ulticom?s quality standards and procedures including TL9000 program.

 

Manager of PM Responsibilities Include:

 

? Leading a professional Program / Project Management team to ensuring success.

? Developing and maintaining a high-level schedule and budget for program or task, by soliciting inputs from functional managers.

? Resolving scheduling conflicts and issues.

? Ensuring clear communication of scheduled activities and customer commitments internally throughout the organization, according to quality standards and procedures.

? Collaborate with Product Management in the customer interfacing activities.

 



Ideal Qualifications:



 

? PMP Certification

? Bachelor?s level degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.

? Master?s level education in Business, MBA, or Computer Science, is preferred but not required.

? Experience in telecommunications, software/hardware or board development industry is preferred but not required.
