Project Analyst

Job Requirements:
Candidates will be required to possess an Associates Degree in Business or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Candidates will demonstrate a broad knowledge of project management and operational policies, procedures and practices. In addition, candidates will possess two or more years experience in an analytical position. Candidates must demonstrate extensive experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as experience with databases. Candidate must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and possess excellent customer service skills.

Degree: BA/BS. Bachelor Degree in Business

Typical Responsibilities:
This position will be in the Customer Generation group of Renewable and Alternative Power Division. This position will support various customer generation programs, but will primarily be responsible for the management of the Net Energy Metering (NEM) application process. This position will be responsible for managing the NEM application process from initial customer inquiry through verified proper installation of customer owned generation from the appropriate municipal building and safety department. Consequently, extensive contact is required with customers, their contractors and the municipal building and safety departments. This position will be responsible for implementing program changes due to evolving legislation or CPUC decisions. This position is required to work closely with other Edison departments to insure customer generation applications are approved within statutory time requirements. Furthermore, this position must monitor the status of all pending and completed applications and prepare reports to management and regulatory agencies as appropriate.
