Project Controls Manager

KJM & Associates, a nationally recognized leader in program and construction management, is currently accepting resumes for a Project Controls Manager.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide leadership in project set up and team organization, managing consultants and contractors, initiating contracts, managing project operations and finances. Candidate will also be responsible for representing clients and ensuring owner satisfaction, overseeing technical and critical issues, managing QA/QC, PR and special concerns, and assist with prevention and claim resolution. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for assisting an owner in managing this project from pre-design, through design and construction, and startup phases. Candidate will provide technical oversight for the overall program; oversee design effort; review and implement program and project control requirements and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

BS or MS degree with a minimum of 15 years experience working on captial projects. Experience working on rail projects is required. Federal grant writing experience and Professional Engineer License is also required. Must have strong interpersonal communication, and conflict resolution skills, and a high degree of technical competency.
