Project Coordinator - Sales & Marketing

 

LOCATION:  Clear Lake area/Houston southeast

 

POSITION SUMMARY:  The Project Coordinator for Sales & Marketing will provide technical support for installation of catalysts.  Manages project coordination responsibility from contract signing to job acceptance and completion.  Coordinates after sales communication with the customer and production, design and other employees to coordinate that all scheduled submittals and deliverables are completed in a timely manner.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Ensures that all requirements of each sales contract, e.g. flow model review, PI&D review and installation and OEM manual writing, are defined, coordinated, and executed. Documents deviations or change orders and incorporates and executed. Documents deviations or change orders and incorporates them into the contract, if needed. Additional costs incurred due to contract changes are to be managed and billed accordingly. Coordination of design of peripheral and ancillary items to the SCR e.g. ammonia injection grid, statis mixers, sealing system and fly ash deflection systems. Provides frequent updates on schedules during project execution. Provides installation advisory services to clients. Handles minor administrative tasks including completion of sales orders, coordination with the Traffic Department, providing budget information and maintenance of customer database.Ability to travel domestically approximately 40 to 60 nights annually. Other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS: BSME degree required.Two years of utilities/refining/power industry/field service experience would be helpful. Familiarity with catalytic operations would be beneficial. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Experience with MS Excel and Word is required. SAP experience would be helpful. Ability to travel domestically approximately 40 to 60 nights annually.
