We are seeking a qualified Project Director for our Operations group in our Monterey, California headquarters.
Ensures the timely and successful development and implementation of integrated technology architecture and infrastructure for operations scanning and handscoring. Responsibilities will include: Developing and managing project scope, schedule and deliverablesEnsuring that solutions meet MGH business objectives and enable cost savings and / or revenue enhancementManaging relationships with external vendor partners to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverablesOverseeing project budgets.Anticipating changes in project deliverables and schedules; developing appropriate solutions, adjustments, options, costs; communicating regularly and on an as needed basis to senior management
Required:
Four-year college degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience
Knowledge of systems development methodology, multiple software and hardware platforms, and/or current software packages
Strong verbal and written communications skills, specifically, ability to communicate with and understand the needs of non-technical internal clients
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and coordinate technology resources and projects.
Ability to work well with the management team by being a good listener, a team builder and an articulate advocate of one's IT vision.
Large scale project management experience (5 years) in upgrading and implementing large scale systems
Knowledge/experience in the range of functional areas included in scope – customer service, support, service delivery to internal and external users
Desired:
Advanced degree in a technology-related field
Programming experience
Knowledge of the issues/ challenges/ processes/ standards of project within CTB and MGH businesses
Knowledge of the issues/ challenges/ processes/ requirements of the educational testing and assessment industry, including International opportunities.
