Project Engineer

Job Description: This position will provides support to subordinate engineers in the areas of project conception, justification, design, schedules, process specifications, fabrication, assembly, installation and debug testing of assigned projects. Communicate as necessary relative to projects and manufacturing needs. Initiate, develop and moderate communication between all manufacturing and support departments. Identify specific project responsibilities and dead line. Monitor progress towards identified goals. Develop and execute contingency plans to ensure projects meet expected schedules and results. Execute other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Job Requirements:

* Broad knowledge of a general technique field such as chemical, civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering; accounting, finance, and business administration. Equivalent to college or university education. Prefer College Degree in Engineering.
* 3-5 years experience in Product Development including 2 years project management experience
* Experience working with foreign suppliers
* Experience in a consumer products industry
* Strong understanding of Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions
