Currently, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager in the Durham, North Carolina office or nationwide.

 

The Project Manager is responsible for successfully managing Per-Se Staff Management implementations. This position is the focal point for all communications with the client throughout the implementation process and is responsible for that established implementation milestones and targeted completion dates are achieved. In general, the scopes of projects are complex. The Project Manager will work independently and must be capable of managing multiple engagements, simultaneously, in complex client environments.

 

Responsibilities:

 

? Demonstrates experience in managing projects to profitability, while balancing customer needs/expectations.

? Effectively communicates and builds relationships with customer project teams.

? Ensures project initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing mechanisms are in place for the effective and efficient execution of the projects. 

? Builds and maintains a reference-able customer relationship. 

? Assists with managing the project budget including managing of forecasts against actuals, travel and expenses. 

? Provides direction for deployment and change management activities.

? Manage project risks by anticipating deployment issues and provide immediate resolution or escalation where required.

? Demonstrates multi tasking ability, analytical skills, problem solving skills and a consistent record of on time delivery and customer service is mandatory. 

? Develops project proposals to determine goals, time frame, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and allotment of resources.

? Develops project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, and identification of risks, contingency plans and allocation of available resources. 

? Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones and required tasks. 

? Recommends recruitment or assignment of project personnel. 

? Co-directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule. 

? Establishes standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation. 

? Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules and plans as required. 

? Prepares project status reports and keeps management, clients and other informed of project status and related issues. 

? Confers with project personnel to provide application advice and assist with problem resolution. 

? Continually assesses and manages risk and associated mitigation strategies and identifies the needs and concerns of all stakeholders. 

? Develops and maintains project documentation. 

? Mentors others in department.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

? Bachelor?s degree in healthcare or management preferred. 

? 5 years Health care experience strongly preferred.

? Must have previous Project Management experience.

? Must have strong Labor Management domain expertise.

? Must have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

? Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills inclusive of strong presentation skills with excellent time management skills.

? Computer skills strongly preferred.

? 40-60% travel is required.
