Project Manager, III

DEPARTMENT: IT Shared Service Compliance and Security

. BASIC FUNCTION:
Plans, manages, and oversees moderately to highly complex projects and major changes to existing systems to ensure the IT efforts exceed the ITS leadership expectations for audit and compliance findings.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provides the technical interface with the Internal and External Auditor groups and the ITS teams.
2. Develop and maintains strong relationships with associate project teamss in ITS and internal/external audit groups.
3. Evaluate audit and compliance findings and make recommendations to ITS management on remediation and improvements to policies, procedures, efficiencies and controls.
4. Review completed remediation implementations to ensure that follow-up audit reviews receive successful completion marks from audit.
5. Maintain knowledge of ITS business (systems, locations, work flow, etc.) that is required to maintain and effectively execute ITS projects
6. Maintains ITS audit and compliance project list, reports weekly on status, manages and mitigates all risks
7. Develop Statement Of Work and Business Requirements for ITS audit initiatives
8. Develop IT project plans and schedules, coordinates technical solutions, alternatives, and recommendations based on requirements
9. Assembles project team, assigns individual responsibilities, identifies appropriate resources needed, and monitors progress to ensure timely and within-budget completion
10. Oversees the completion of ITS development and testing of appropriate technology or systems
11. Attains appropriate sign-offs of all milestones and project completion
12. Escalates any delays or critical issues to ITS mgmt.
13. Ensures that planned technical solutions and recommendations are implemented according to company policies and standards
14. Serves as the focal point for project activity for appointed group(s).
15. Leads strategy and project meetings.
16. Ensures effective flow of communication between management, users, and associates on the project team

Education:
BS in Computer Science, Accounting, IT related field, or Bachelor's in Business Administration, or equivalent experience

Experience:
' 8 ' 10 years Internal Audit experience required
' 8-10 years of experience managing complex projects
' 5 ' 8 in Information Technology Audit or Public Accounting, preferred

Specialized:
' Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
' CISA ' Certified Information Systems Auditor, CIA ' Certified Internal Auditor, or CISM ' Cerfitied Information Security Manager a plus
' PMP Certification (through PMI) a plus
' Working knowledge of all functional areas of MIS, including operating systems, networks (LAN & WAN), problem/change management and project management methodologies
' Working knowledge of technical and systems products
' Strong understanding of business related issues (i.e. Project impacts to the budget and/or bottom-line, business reasons for the project/decision, market-share knowledge, etc.)
' Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, customer service, communications, and presentation skills
