Project Manager (Norcross, GA) Managing Projects Across Companies Preferred

Differential Solutions, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Project Manager who will be working as part of a team to deliver customer based solutions. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing customer needs and DSi deliverables. The Project Manager will be responsible for a series of concurrent projects including the requirement specification, risk assessment, integration, and deployment of software and engineering projects. This individual will manage software deployment projects at the managerial and project task level.

Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.

- Plan and oversee software deployment and engineering projects.

- As primary point of contact for customers.

- Assist customer in problem identification, product solution, testing, training, and deployment.

- Provide credibility, communication and leadership qualities to their highest to ensure customer?s confidence in DSi?s delivery abilities

- Create and maintain project control documents and track status of overall project according to established implementation timelines.

- Establish and maintain accurate and comprehensive project documents.

- Establish and maintain necessary resource commitments to ensure successful project completion.
- Identify and manage project scope changes.

- Provide accurate and effective communications to customers and DSi management.
- Execute appropriate risk management to ensure business priorities and quality standards are met.
- Responsibility in driving projects to completion before or on deadline.

- Understand customer needs and recognize opportunities.
- Some travel may be required.


Requirements:
- Must be flexible with shift coverage.

- Self-motivated.

- Require minimum supervision.

- Strong customer relationship experience.

- Strong analytical skill.

- Solid project management experience in software deployment and customer deliveries.

- Be able to recognize issues and develop plan of actions.

- Must demonstrate the willingness and capability of multi-tasking; by taking on several duties, tasks, projects and/or responsibilities at one time.


- Must be comfortable in matrix management environments and work effectively with others in managing complex projects.

- Outstanding organization skills.

- Demonstrate knowledge of project management best practices

- MS Project
- 5+ years customer relationship experience.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to facilitate project teams.

- A working knowledge of the Construction or Engineering industries a plus.

Technical Skills:
- BS or BA in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
- 5+ years work experience in project management.
