Project Manager/POS/Retail/Sarbanes Oxley

The Store Systems Project Manager for POS Systems is responsible for the technical specification, design, implementation and support for all POS applications. This position will work closely with the Store Operations and other business personnel to ensure that IT is providing appropriate store system solutions that are aligned with and support current and future business process. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: The position of Store Systems Project Manager is responsible for the evaluation, recommendation, development and implementation of POS applications and process improvements. This position is responsible for the planning and day-to-day management of assigned projects, ensuring a high level of communications with all stakeholders and management of project issues. Additional responsibilities include ensuring that all applications developed internally or purchased from vendors comply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for application and data security and that implementation of such applications conforms to the Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for Program Development and Change Management.

Qualifications :
Essential: College degree in Business/Computer Science or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 years Information Technology project management experience. Minimum of 5 years Application Development experience Experience in Retail Store Systems Ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks with aggressive schedules Proficient in business application analysis and design Excellent project management skills Excellent skills related to application and data security Proficient in short and long range planning Excellent problem solver Excellent written and oral communications skills Highly organized with attention to detail Team player. Desired: MBA Experience in Retail applications Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Project Familiarity with iSeries, Internet and client/server technology Experience in negotiating with vendors and service providers. Understanding of the regulatory requirements of Sarbanes Oxley
