We are currently looking for a passionate, focused, and experienced project manager with an instructional design background to staff our Dearborn, MI office.

 

Primary Functions

 

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the day-to-day project details for client and internal teams under the guidance of the account manager (AM). Works closely with the AM to refine scope of project(s) and ensure content meets client strategic objectives, and is delivered on time and on budget.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 Develop and maintain day-to-day relationships with internal/external clients and vendorsOversee design, development, and production of projects to ensure client specifications and deadlines are metProvide project support to off-site and contract Instructional Designers (ID) and assist ID with research and gathering client assets as neededWith AM, initiate and conduct mid-point (for long-term projects) and post-mortem evaluationsAssist AM in cultivating new business opportunities within existing clients by ensuring client satisfaction, continually conducting client analysis, and managing the client according to the short term and long term account plan Travel as neededOpen job numbers; opening purchase orders (as needed and upon account manager approval); develop, maintain, and monitor progress reports, project plans, timelines and budgets with focus on attention to detail and customer satisfactionCreate and maintain server and project folder files, create links, and ensure file management integrityEnsure timely and efficient handoff internally and externally throughout project and provide status updates to team members, management, and clientSchedule and facilitate all project related meetings (including client reviews), actively participate in bi-monthly department meetings and weekly resource allocation meetingsWith AM, provide scope estimates and revised estimates to the client for approvalCommunicate monthly with Accounting to review project-billing status & update AMInterface with management to secure necessary internal and external resources for the successful completion of projects (including internal SMEs)Communicate resource conflicts and/or project delays to AM and/or Managing Director

Also, you must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word.  MS Project a plus.
