Adams-Gabbert & Associates, Inc., a professional services company specializing in consulting services, project management, and process excellence, is searching for Project Management and Senior Business Analysis professionals to join our growing Kansas City practice.

 

PROJECT MANAGER

 

A. Performance Expectations

The ideal candidate will have experience and demonstrated success delivering results in the following areas:Program / Project Management Offices (PMO) Project Management Methodology Project Controls Management Project Planning / Scope Management Issue / Change / Risk Management Timeline Management Budget Management Operational Readiness Project Management Audit and Assessment

 

B.  Credentials and Experience

? Bachelor?s degree in business, information technology or other related field from an accredited college or university

? Project management and Six Sigma certifications desirable

? 5+ years experience in a consulting / professional services environment, specifically with project management, process improvement, business analysis or system development life cycles

? 2+ years supervisory experience in a team-oriented environment

? Experience working with individuals at all levels of an organization, specifically with executive-level decision-makers

? Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (including MS Project), Visio or equivalent project management application

? Knowledge of Business Process Improvement and Project Management methodologies and best practices

? Problem solving, negotiation and persuasive communication skills

? Effective written communication skills with ability to adapt to different audiences

? Effective oral communication skills with ability to address individuals and groups in formal and informal settings

? Strong organizational and planning skills; time management

? Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, prospective clients, internal and community contacts

? Ability to establish and achieve performance goals in a high performance work environment

? Ability to work independently or in a team environment

 



SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST

 

A. Performance Expectations

The ideal candidate will have experience and demonstrated success delivering results in the following areas:Gap Analysis Business Case Development Current/Future State Process Analysis System and Data Mapping System Requirements Definition Constraints Analysis Process Requirements Definition Methods & Procedures (User Guides) Testing Test Script Writing

 

B.  Credentials and ExperienceAssociates degree in business, information technology or other related field from an accredited college or university; Bachelors degree preferred

? 3+ years experience in a consulting / professional services environment or equivalent industry related experience

? Experience with process improvement, business analysis or system development life cycles

? Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (including MS Project), Visio or equivalent project management application

? Knowledge of Business Process Improvement and Project Management methodologies and best practices

? Problem solving and critical thinking

? Effective written communication skills

? Effective oral communication skills

? Strong organizational and planning skills; time management

? Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, prospective clients, internal and community contacts
