Project Specialist

VIASYS Healthcare's Clinical Services Division has an immediate opening for a Project Specialist.

 

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:  Provide advanced level Technical & Clinical Assistance to VIASYS Clinical Service (VCS) customers on the operation, troubleshooting, and repair of company products.  Document all correspondence and disseminate information as needed. 

 

SECONDARY OBJECTIVE:  Provide support for all functional groups within VCS; in cooperation with project management, product management, development, quality control, production and service.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Customer Service Responsibilities: Provide problem resolution by first-call phone support to end users in the field (physicians, nurses, sponsors, and distributors). Provide efficient and effective support with knowledge of all available products and services for each specialized account. Handles problem recognition and resolution with research, isolation and identification of problems reported by end users. Refers more complex problems to supervisors and senior staff.

 

? Customer Service Request: Respond to customer service requests in an accurate and timely manner with a professional attitude.  Determine appropriate action to ensure customer satisfaction while protecting the VIASYS Clinical Services Division?s financial responsibility.  Ensure that all customer contacts are fully documented into database.  Provide coverage via mobile phone, email, etc as required.

 

? Customer Follow-up: Contact Customers with a follow-up phone call after a part has been shipped to ensure complete customer satisfaction and problem resolution.  ?Follow-up? calls will occur within (2) two working days of the part(s) shipment.  Ensure that all customer contacts are fully documented into VIASYS Clinical Services provided database.

 

? Sensitive Accounts Responsibility: Communicate with the Operations Manager of Clinical Services and Project Management staff regarding ?sensitive? accounts.  Monitor and follow-up with sensitive accounts as assigned.

 

? Product Responsibility: Assist Product Managers by identifying problem areas within ongoing clinical trials as they become apparent.  Provide data necessary for problem areas to be researched appropriately.  Provide documentation as necessary to inform appropriate people of technical information not covered by other materials.

 

? Project Responsibilities: Provide support for all functional groups within VCS upon request. Work closely with project management, quality control management and operations management.

 

ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Implement, coordinate, contribute and assist with other projects as assigned, including team participation.

   

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill and/or experience required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  Bachelor?s degree in Physical Science or Business preferred. Background in respiratory physiology, exercise physiology or registered Respiratory Therapist is a plus. Experience in the medical diagnostic industry and electrocardiograph (ECG) experience is preferred but

not mandatory. Strong communication skills; both verbal and written, organized and strong interpersonal skills with a keen knowledge of customer service satisfaction practices are required.

 

Strong working knowledge of computers and MS Office is mandatory.
