Quality Assurance - Project Manager

Your job will report in to the Transaction Products Sector QA Head, who reports in-line to the Transaction Products Sector Head, and functionally to the Head of P&S Risk and Quality Management (RQM) on matters of risk. You will work with Transaction Products (TP) colleagues to establish robust processes, operational controls and documentation with effective and consistent implementation. Where appropriate, you will also ensure integration into the TP Control Plan. The Control Plan supports the UBS operational risk framework and related initiatives such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Section 302/404, and incorporates its control standards, objectives and certification principles. However, the Control Plan goes beyond support for external regulatory requirements. The Control Plan ensures the integrity of the TP end-to-end (e2e) processes and deliverables, through QA-led systematic monitoring, aggressive risk management and issue resolution. You will work with the head of TP QA to oversee and manage the Control Plan, collaborating with relevant parties to identify, report, escalate and resolve Control Plan related risks and issues. In addition to scheduled work within the Control Plan context, you will conduct self-directed ad-hoc reviews and as directed by line management and P&S RQM. You will also be required to manage the "outcome" and follow-up of such reviews through a successful conclusion. Core QA responsibilities & activities will include: Documentation and change management of key e2e processes & flows as the basis for the control plan; Definition and implementation of Sector Control Plan(s); Ongoing operational responsibility for Control Plan change management and its operation; Ensuring all necessary SOX relevant control objectives and standards are implemented and identifiable within the Control Plan; Preparation, coordination and reporting of audit related activities and audit point closure management; Working with the different business units and P&S RQM to ensure appropriate levels of BCM provision, implementation, testing and change management; Participation in implementation of TP Sector-level legal and compliance related initiatives and conducting business and operational reviews and manage follow-up remediation actions.

Basic Qualifications
You are a team player with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree. You have competence in project management concepts across the full project life cycle. You are able to apply your strong analytical and conceptual skills in a structured, timely manner. You are self-directed and experienced in achieving success through others on virtual teams.

Preferred Qualifications
You are a professional with additional financial services education or qualifications (e.g., Series 7, etc.). You have a good understanding of one or more of the Business Sectors. You have experience in risk control, compliance, or audit. You have knowledge of/experience with UBS Group, Global Wealth Management & Business Banking, including SOX context. You have experience in Transaction Products businesses (Fixed Income, Equities, Options, etc.).
