Real Estate & Facilities Project Manager

Requirements
Bose Corporation is seeking a dynamic individual for a Facilities Real Estate & Facilities Project Manager opening. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing the business plans and financials of the creation and/or renovation of our site projects (office, manufacturing and warehousing.) Obtain cost estimates from third party estimating firms and/or construction indexes. Manage and oversee outsourced project management and construction firms and analyze and prepare project cost reporting. Oversee, document, and report on progress of projects, and uphold delivery of projects completeness on schedule and within budget.

Duties include:
- Review estimated costs for proposed projects and site searches.
- Maintain project controls and assist in contract compliance of all contractors and consultants.
- Coordinate capital installations.
- Collaborate with other departments and lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute coordinated facilities strategic plans and space programming.
- Interface with contractors, architects, and insurers on projects to provide leadership in cost-effective optimization of space and risk.
- Ensure compliance with environmental & conservation requirements at our sites.
- Travel 10-20% as needed.

Skills
- 8 years of experience of facilities planning, project management, and/or construction.
- General understanding of business operations and real estate accounting to develop conceptual plans, cost estimates, cash flows, progress schedules, and management reports
- Organizationally and computer savvy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and be able to shift focus when needed.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and real estate and/or construction license highly preferred.

Education
a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
