Sales Info/Reporting Technical Analyst

Medical Mutual, Ohio's largest health insurer, is looking for energetic professionals with strong database skills to join the Market Research and Planning team.

This exciting opportunity includes the following responsibilities:

?

??Develops and delivers high level reports to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), VP Marketing Services, Director Sales Administration, Manager of Sales Analysis and other executive level management and/or external customers/consultants.?
??Processes and organizes data to display requested trends and analysis in a meaningful manner to produce quality reporting for use in key corporate decision making.

??Serves as department representative on various task forces involving new product development or data implementations/problem-solving.?

??Plans and executes strategies to promote data integrity and accuracy on all levels of reporting, including CRM database administration.

??Utilizes an in-depth understanding of file structures, data definitions and relationships across all files (i.e., Membership, Disbursements, Claims, Provider, Broker, etc.)? Provides complex reporting which incorporates data from the multiple file sources necessary for complex analysis and decisions.

??In a lead role, identifies and analyzes data problems affecting the Sales Analysis area and recommends innovative solutions and/or enhancements.? Coordinates and participates directly with Information Systems in reviewing data algorithms and corporate data mapping efforts, providing guidance on data translations.? Participates in cost/benefit analysis and recommendations on proposed enhancements.

??Oversees preparation of data for Sales Analysis monthly reporting; performs analytical review of completed reports and assumes responsibility for overall accuracy (including monthly reports submitted to CMO)

??Designs and develops complex DB2 on-line and batch programs and mainframe-to-PC processes in direct support of management's requests/needs.?

In addition to handling specific data requests, offers constructive recommendations about alternative data/information that may be available to the requester.

Minimum Qualifications or Equivalents:
1.? Bachelor?s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Health Care Economics, Finance, Operations Management or related field.
2.? Proficiency utilizing personal computer applications such as Windows, Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and MS Access.
3.? Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the internal/external contacts.
4.? Project management experience with demonstrated organizational and analytical skills.
5.? Previous experience with demonstrated evaluation, design, analysis, and report writing and goal setting.
6.? Demonstrated understanding of product delivery systems with the ability to interpret sales and market needs in the health care industry.
7.? Ability to apply marketing theory to analysis to make strong recommendations.
8.? Must be able to work independently and as a member of a focused team.
