Covestic is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the integration activities in support of company acquisitions being made by an aggressive, industry-leading software development company. The Senior Project Manager will own the acquisition from the signing of a Letter of Intent through the first 3 months of integrated operations. As Senior Project Manager, you will be in charge of an inter-company, cross-functional project team including Legal, HR, Finance, Business and IT resources. The Senior Project Manager will lead the team through business and technical due diligence, integration planning, execution and transition to operations. Success in this role will require strong inter-personal skills, a solid understanding of M&A integration processes and advanced project management skills.

The primary responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager include:
-Establishing an acquisition integration project plan including objectives, timeline, activities, resources and financial commitments.
-Securing project resources internally as well as from target company
-Leading integration activities from due diligence through transition to operations
-Maintaining status to plan, providing regular status reports and coordinating team meetings
-Identifying and resolving project impacting issues and escalating as warranted
-Facilitating inter-company interaction and mediating negotiations as required
-Taking accountability for the success of the acquisition integration project

-5+ years Project Management Experience with at least 2 years leading business integration projects (consulting background preferred)
-Experience in at least 1 M&A integration project (full life cycle preferred)
-Strong familiarity with business and technical integration requirements, activities, critical path and common pitfalls in a M&A context
-Organizational change management familiarity a plus.
-Solid understanding of acquisition integration processes
-Working knowledge of IT infrastructure elements and common Microsoft platforms
-Demonstrated knowledge of project planning, tracking and status reporting
-Understanding of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) or significant experience with a robust project management methodology
-Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills across technical and business audiences.
-Ability to present to groups and executives and facilitate decision-making
-Proven self-starter with a 'can do' attitude ' willingness to dive into the details when needed
-Proficient with MS Office Tools (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio)
