Software Automation Project Coordinator

As a Software Automation Project Coordinator with U.S. Bank, you will: Develop and coordinate development activities related to small-large projects active within the Enterprise tools team(ETSC). Coordinate and communicate software development plan in regards to schedule, status, risk, and issues. Complete and/or review all artifacts related to an iterative development plan and report status to management and overall project lead. Identify, develop and implement opportunities for standardizing processes that streamline activities related to enterprise tools support. Identify, develop and implement opportunities for improving overall business line use of the enterprise tools. Maintain communications with external groups effected by internal projects and with team members effected by external projects. Promote integrated development methodologies in external projects effecting team and implement the same methodologies on projects internal to team. Assist in creation and documentation of standardized administration and development processes. While we expect that you?ll possess a strong basic skill set, including excellent communication and people skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team or independently, we also require: A college degree or equivalent experience. A detailed working knowledge of project management methodology. A working knowledge of the RUP development methodology, with 2-4 years working experience. The ability to analyze the use of applications and determine best practice usage as well as ability to deploy the plans and designs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational, design and planning skills. Experience in successfully analyzing, planning, and scheduling projects across varied platforms. An expertise in managing people and projects, including building and managing projects to a detailed project plan. Experience implementing and supporting tools or applications in a large corporate environment, and across varied technical backgrounds. Experience with a functioning Project Methodology. ClearCase 2 yrs, ClearQuest 2 yrs, PERL 1-2yrs, SQL 3yrs, Web Development (PERL/CGI, Java, .NET, etc) 3yrs, XML, UML, Technical Manual Writing Skills, Project Console, RequisitePro, Rational Rose, Mercury Test Director, WinRunner, LoadRunner, Windows & Unix OS are pluses. Experience analyzing and standardizing tool administration processes and software development processes is a plus. Experience creating templates and forms for notification of users of administration events such as pending outages, patches, and upgrades is a plus.
