Sr. Implementation Manager

5+ years experience in project management using formal methodology, techniques and tools.
Industry experience preferred.Position Description

Provides project management leadership and discipline according to predefined levels of service. Service levels range from guidance and review only to full project management, providing oversight of all aspects of project, including communications between functional organizations and internal and external participants. .

Monitors the project from initiation through delivery. Identifies project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. Integrates and monitors detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budgets, and status reports. Ensures all project deliverables are met.

Leads project meetings. Recommends and directs the analysis and resolution of problems. May also provide project management guidance to project team or others filling the role of project manager on smaller projects.Minimum Requirements

8+ years customer service experienceAdditional Knowledge & Skills

Ability to provide strong leadership and influence to matrixed, cross-functional teams in managing multiple projects with conflicting priorities and market imposed deadlines.

Proficient in the discipline of Project Management. Ability to adhere to standard methodologies and processes.

Collaborative, able to interact effectively with people from different disciplines and varying degrees of technical experience in all levels of the organization. Strong interpersonal, listening and team building skills.
Strong negotiation, persuasion and problem solving skills. Arbitrate and resolve conflict and ambiguity.

Ability to openly communicate with and motivate team. Ability to communicate appropriately at all levels in the organization.

Demonstrated ability using MS Windows Applications including MS-Project, MS-Visio, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, and MS-Word.

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a self-directed environment to meet critical deliverable dates.

Familiarity with Information Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and RUP/UML preferred.Education

4-year degree preferably in Technology, General Business or Healthcare. In some cases, equivalent experience may be substituted for educational credentials.
Current PMP? certification or equivalent other project management certificationCertifications

1. Maintain PMP Certification with appropriate level of annual Professional Development Units (PDU) or Educational Credits.
2. Stay current with project management techniques, tools and methods with particular focus on PMI.
