Sr. Program Manager

Program Managers are responsible for leading Nuance product development activities from conception through successful completion. Program Managers will facilitate communication among project teams and management throughout the entire life cycle of the project. The Program Managers are responsible for providing guidance, mentoring, training and support services to the project cross functional team members where needed. Program managers are the focal point and principal contact for the program within Nuance.

- Manage a worldwide cross functional teams ranging up to 20 people.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Coordinates key project matters and monitors program progress
- Identifies internal and external factors jeopardizing the project, drives efforts to resolve those issue and if required, escalates issues and recommended solutions to senior management.
- Serve as focal point and principal contact for the program, both within the Product Development Team (PDT) and between the PDT and other groups.
- Drives the creation and publishing of all documents required by the TTM process, and present summaries of these documents to the Product Approval Committee (PAC).
- Lead PDT meetings to manage the programs.
- Create, revise, and monitor overall product line project schedule. This will involve creating or rolling up schedules from all cross-functional teams, as well as the third party developers..

Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, MBA a plus
- 6 to 10 years of experience in software development or software product management
- 3 years or more of Project/Program management, managing projects from conception through launch and directing cross functional team up to 20 people for product duration up to 15 months
- Experience as first line software development manager a plus
- Deep knowledge of software development life cycle & methodologies
- Strong skills in management by influence
- PMP certificate preferred
- Strong skills in Management by Influence
- Able to multitask and prioritize work in a fast paced environment
- Strong analytical/problem solving/decision-making skills required
- Good listening/writing and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
