Sr. Program Manager for Wireless Communications

Role Program Manager for Government Programs. Initial primary responsibility will be with the base station business until such a time that a clearance is obtained to lead classified programs. Candidate will be responsible for managing program budget, schedule, contract performance requirements and deliverables. Will be required to prepare for and lead internal and customer program reviews, write reports, program plan and contract deliverable documents, define and manage staffing requirements, manage subcontractors, negotiate contracts, and in general, perform whatever duties are necessary to ensure successful program execution. Will interface with engineering, product management, contracts, finance, business development and other internal company functional groups as required to accomplish program objectives. Will also interface with external vendor(s). Will also lead proposal efforts for new programs, and will fulfill the PM role for the phase process for new products in QGOV. Will need to establish strong relationships with customers and will work with the business development group to cultivate and grow future business.

Skills/Experience
Program management experience in an engineering/product development environment with at least 4 years experience leading software development programs. A current or recent Top Secret (TS/SI) security clearance is desirable, and obtaining the appropriate clearance will be required for the job. Experience with government contracting and classified government programs are also desired. Wireless telecommunications, digital signal processing, and information security experience preferred. Candidate must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. PC experience required with expertise in Microsoft Project or PS8, and other Microsoft Office applications.

Additional Skills
Must have seven to ten years experience in program management. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or other physical science. MBA is a bonus.
