Job Posting Description
Join the Clinical Information Systems team at Children's Hospital as a Team Leader, SurgiNet (CHAMPS). The Team Leader supervises a team of 2-4 application specialists in the development, maintenance, and support of clinical or financial applications that support multiple departments in the hospital. Coordinates with vendors and users to optimize development and support of assigned systems. Participates in the forming of standards for development and software selection, and makes policy recommendations both within the department and to application users in the hospital.

Qualifications for this position include:

- Bachelor's degree in clinical field such as nursing, pharmacy, clinical laboratory, or a closely related field and a minimum of 6-8 years experience.

- Current working knowledge of the process of patient care in hospital settings.

- An ability to translate clinical needs into system applications.

- Good organizational skills and ability to work independently.

- Previous Clinical Information Systems and Cerner experience highly desirable.

- Supervisory and Project Management skills strongly preferred.

- Prior experience in an operating room setting is highly desirable.
