The position reports to the SVP Process Improvement and Reporting at ActiveHealth. This position is not within the information technology organization. The position requires a background in reporting, data marts, data warehouses and designing reports. The position is responsible for coordinating the Business and Report Analysts responsible for external client and internal management reports for all of ActiveHealth?s medical management products. This person will manage a team of Reporting Business Analysts, work with business representatives and senior management to prioritize work lists, work with product and operations areas to understand how client reports tie back to business functions and manage or contribute to the budget and performance reviews of staff and consultants tied to reporting projects.

This individual will coordinate all projects associated with Datamart reporting from the business perspective. This includes setting priorities, managing enhancement and issues lists, reviewing all Business Analysts report designs, functional requirements, testing, documentation, etc associated with each product. The Director of Information Management in conjunction with the report team will plan and execute the introduction of new reports to the organization. This role requires interface with multi-disciplinary teams throughout the process and an associated IT technical team for the actual production of the reports.

SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE:

Education:

Bachelor?s Degree in Economics, Finance, Health Care, Computer Science or other related discipline, required Master?s Business Administration General or Health Care, preferred.

Experience Skills:8+ years? experience managing professional staff (including planning, budget and performance management)2+ years? experience in reporting, client reporting preferred, experience with Crystal Reports, SQL, Business Objects and MS Access5- 10 years? experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and reporting project status, issues and creative solutions to senior management related to complex project workExperience in the Medical Management, Health Care or Insurance segmentsDemonstrated analytical skills with both attention to detail and a strategic focusExcellent communications skills, verbal and writtenHands on experience with all aspects of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experienceMentoring others in all aspects of the process

 

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION:

Prior experience working in an environment with conflicting priorities, ability to deal with tight deadlines, prior experience working with a wide variety of customers and flexibility are all needed.
