Warranty Claims Administrator

ESSENTIAL 1. Processes warranty and policy claims in accordance with company guidelines
2. Coordinates handling returned materials with the Tech Service Group
3. Process debits submitted by original equipment manufacturer
4. Organizes and maintains manuals pertaining to claims activities

SUPPLEMENTAL
1. Performs miscellaneous clerical duties including receiving and responding to telephone inquiries
2. Assists with Call Center activities as needed
3. Maintains a clean and safe work area
4. Performs special projects

REQUIRED
1. Bachelors Degree in related field or 4 years of related work experience
2. Highly effective reading skills including comprehension
3. Highly effective oral and written communication skills
4. Strong interpersonal skills required to work effectively with others
5. Highly effective organizational skills
6. Working knowledge of unit warranty policy
7. Ability to make decisions in the absence of the manager

PREFERRED
1. Production knowledge of diesel engines
2. Oracle Discoverer programming knowledge
