Small, collegial, fast-paced Greenwich Village-based technology and  international business firm seeks an exceptionally talented Web Product and Client Support Manager to oversee and improve our website operations. The envisioned role entails daily interaction with clients, coordination with external programmers, developers and our hosting service, and guidance of product development to completion.

Responsibilities:Oversee efficient operation of websites and assist in new product development in coordination with business development team, content providers, programmers, and executives; Support and resolve client requests relating to use of websites;Assist with requirements and functional specs for application changes;Troubleshoot, resolve and report application disruptions;Participate in development discussion and application user testing;Facilitate the transition from development to implementation;Perform minor site modifications, such as adding graphics and text;Some administrative tasks.

 

Requirements: Must have 4 years experience managing web-based products;Understanding of the technology platforms (though programming is not required and day-to-day maintenance will be handled by external developers); RW? web applications are written in a combination of ColdFusion,.NET and Flash, and operate on top of a Microsoft SQL environment.Project management skillsDetail orientationExcellent communication skills?oral and written;Comfort with client contact; Basic understanding of HTML and java script;

 

Salary range is $45,000 to $55,000 with benefits. Greater technical proficiency, higher salary possible.
