Account Manager

Manage the relationship with a major RR Donnelley Customer and ensuring that the service is delivered in a timely, cost effective manner. Ensure all work is completed within agreed service levels for quality and turnaround time. Recording and collating information for management reviews. Actively pursue business openings within the existing contract to generate revenue growth opportunities.

Manage all purchasing activities for the account with relation to policy and procedures, performance expectations and training needs in order to meet account goals and objectives.

Manage the operations of the Commercial Print Project Manager(s) in supporting the needs of the customer as required in the timely, effective delivery of outsourced commercial print products. Monitor the status of existing orders and take necessary actions as needed.

Visit with end user, supplier, and internal plant locations as needed to improve communication and order process flow. Eliminate non-value added activities and strengthen relationships with both. Monitor quality and service performance levels of suppliers and document any incidents in Incident Record Database.

Act as the company's representative in all vendor relationships related to the procurement of the customers' printed material. Qualify all new suppliers as needed to support the requirements of sales and the customers needs. Provide Global Strategic Sourcing with supplier performance data and participate in Scheduled Business Reviews as needed.

Work closely with and have a good working knowledge of Project Manager(s). Provide or arrange for training for employees on group and individual basis as required. Evaluate employee performance and conduct employee performance reviews.

Ensure proper data is gathered to manage the account. Provide data to assist in the development of annual budgets. Maintain performance levels to satisfy account objectives associated with P&L, invoice lead times, and pricing levels.

-Previous experience and a through understanding of the forms, paper and commercial print industries and related business.
-Bachelor's degree and 5 + years equivalent work experience.
