Advertising Production Coordinator

The American College of Physicians (ACP), a leading internal medicine society, currently seeks an individual to be responsible for publication advertising tasks, page layouts (including Classified as well as run of book display ads), press forms and production schedules. Performs pharmaceutical billing duties utilizing ad management system.  Shares responsibility with production graphic designer for classified advertisements to ensure quality and conformance with standards. Also shares responsibility for designing, developing and layout/production of ACP publications within required timeline. 

 

Qualified individual must possess a BA degree, with 5 years related working experience; excellent systems skills and first-rate financial aptitude required. Knowledge of pharmaceutical products a plus.  Extensive experience in a multi-publications advertising layout/production environment also necessary. Experience should include ad design, layout using PC and MAC, customer service, and production in a deadline operating environment.  Ability to create/design ads for electronic layout. Prefer working knowledge of: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, QuarkXpress, Acrobat Distiller, Word, and Excel.  Excellent computer aptitude required to interact with customized advertising software. Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
