Associate Team Leader - Print Shop

Summary/Responsibilities of this position:

As an Associate Team Leader in the FOGS area of the Print Shop, the incumbent supervises primarily non-exempt employees and may also supervise individual contributors in a single functional area. Supervises a tactical team engaged in supporting the day-to-day efforts of the department. Acts as a member of the management team for the department. Responsible for the estimating, pre-press, receiving and shipping operations. As part of those functions the ATL will also be responsible for: providing leadership to the members of his team, setting minimum stock value, driving down overall inventory levels, inventory accuracy,developing and maintaining a production schedule that responds to customer needs, ensuring that the proper warehouse standards are followed, maintaining ingredient and material availability, data integrity, and shrink reduction.

 

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related coursework, or a minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment with training and background in shipping/receiving/inventory control.Previous experience in the printing industry a plus.High level of achievement/performance in school and/or work.Strong multi-tasking and attention to detail skills.Strong written, verbal, presentation, reading and comprehension skills of manuals/instructions.Strong leadership and inter-personal skills with proven ability in coaching, developing others and working in team-based environments.Good analytical ability, problem solving and decision-making skills as demonstrated through handling special projects and/or assignments with basic working knowledge and understanding of the business industry.Strong math skills.Advanced computer skills, to include: MS Excel, MS Word, OMI, XPTR. Axapta, Cimpro and other in-house systems as required.High energy level and stamina as shown by heavy involvement in school/business organizations, work-related committees/teams, social and/or community service activities.Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays.
