Business Development Associate

We are the largest independent tester of consumer products and services in the United States. We have an outstanding opportunity for a Business Development Associate to join our Publishing Group.

This position will assist with new business development initiatives, as related to affiliate partnership deals. Will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating industry trends and technologies in order to help identify new business opportunities. Will monitor traffic and sales that result from existing affiliate programs and work with various areas of the company such as Consumer Marketing, Direct marketing and Finance and Accounting. Assist with maintenance of existing affiliate content and marketing programs, contract process and progress and coordination of interdepartmental activities. It will also be necessary to set up meetings with potential new affiliate companies, and craft the materials needed for presentation and proposals.

This person will be the go-to-person for the department for internal questions about affiliate programs and external affiliate questions about program needs and issues.

Required Skills:
Candidate must be a college graduate with a degree in Business or Marketing with a minimum of three years of web-related experience in a new media environment. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize and manage many different types of projects, while also providing overall department support. Ability to forge and maintain business relationships and the ability to work with senior executives and junior staff both internally and externally. Understanding of web production, and web site functionality a plus.
