Circulation Manager

 

TechTarget is seeking a Circulation Manager with at least 3 years of experience in magazine circulation, to be responsible for building and renewing controlled circ for three monthly magazines, as well as supervising and preparing the circulation audit. The ideal candidate will have experience with marketing analysis, online marketing and some telemarketing.

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

? Controlled Circ Audits: At least 2-3 years experience filing BPA statements, passing audits, and communicating with BPA; Organize and supervise the efforts to prepare for the semi-annual circulation statements and the annual BPA audits; Ensure the accuracy of data presented for the audit.

? Marketing Analysis: Track results and monitor data capture analysis of marketing efforts for new and renewing subscribers, including promotional pieces as well as other subscription-related projects. Work with outside fulfillment and database management company; Analyze all existing and incoming data/ records.

? Online Marketing: Significant experience regarding online direct marketing subscription techniques. Work with Media Marketing Managers, to develop marketing plans for their magazines to increase success of online subscription efforts.

 

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

? Three years of experience working in a publishing environment or other relevant position;

? Strong time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;

? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

? Relational database experience a plus;

? Extremely detail oriented and able to efficiently manage multiple tasks on deadline;

? Ability to work independently as well as collaborate and communicate with cross-functional groups; and,

? Bachelor?s degree or appropriate mix of education and experience.
