The Chronicle of Higher Education seeks a Client Service Representative to work in its Recruitment Advertising Department.  This person will work in a deadline-oriented, consultative role with clients regarding all aspects of print and online recruitment advertising for both publications, The Chronicle of Higher Education and The Chronicle of Philanthropy.  The client service representative will communicate information on our products and services to our clients, at initial point of contact. This will be done via  telephone, e-mail and/or fax. Responsibilities also include processing and designing ads, both in print and online, and proofreading.

 

The successful candidate must have a strong aptitude for learning and working on a complex advertising processing system; a minimum of one to two years? experience in customer service;  an eye for detail, including excellent spelling, grammar and proofreading skills.  Experience working in both a PC and Macintosh environment, Adobe, MS Office Suite and working directly with clients is a must.  Knowledge of Photoshop and Indesign is preferred.  A college degree is required.
