Conference Planner/Sales

This role will lead a team responsible for producing Great American Scrapbook Conventions (GASC), including but not limited to, commission sales, program planning, marketing, logistics coordination and new market expansion. The Show Producer will also work as needed on current and new events for other F+W product categories.

 

Other responsibilities include:Meeting or exceeding forecasted vendor booth space salesDeveloping sales materials and exhibitor packetsPerforming research to develop new prospects and growth opportunitiesMaintaining strong industry credibility through visible attendance at trade shows, and other product demonstrations; staying updated on latest technologiesGenerating direct sales through cold call sellingCreating and launching successful media campaigns; tracking and measuring advertising programs to optimize resultsParticipating in site research and selectionManaging staff on-site at events, facilitating all vendor and site logistics

 

Qualified candidates will possess 4-year college degree and must have 3+ years sales experience. Knowledge of publications, online and custom events essential. Looking for a dynamic self starter who thrives on challenges. Must be able to travel by plane 5-6 times per year.
