Job Summary
This is a great opportunity for individuals who want to make a difference in elementary education. Studies Weekly, Inc. produces materials for reading, writing and social studies. We are currently seeking a sharp copy editor/writer who is focused, efficient, and creative. Our publications are for students in grades 3-6. This position is being held for a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual who will contribute to our dynamic production team.

Reporting Relationship
As part of our production team, the copy editor/writer will support current production in addition to participating in new product development. This individual will write and edit a variety of materials, including educational materials, letters, marketing materials, and web content

Qualifications
? Bachelor?s degree and/or editorial background
? At least 2 years experience in copy editing and writing
? Some familiarity with/interest in reading pedagogy with experience in elementary education or related fields

? Excellent editing skills
? Creative flair and eye for detail ? yes, both of these together!
? Ability to meet deadlines
? Great research skills
? Intermediate MS Word skills
? Intermediate Mac skills
