Corporate Controller - Magazine Publisher, Boca Raton FL

 We have an immediate opening for a Corporate Controller at our headquarters in Boca Raton, Florida.  The prime candidate for this position will be a ?hands on? individual interested in leading the overall accounting and reporting efforts for this dynamic and growing publishing company. The Company publishes NewBeauty magazine as well as a number of high end design/architecture magazines and books. 

 Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Ensure accurate and timely payroll preparation for transmission to ADP Accurately prepare and report on sales commission statements and payments Timely billing of our customers.  Timely financial reconciliations, monthly general ledger close, preparation of weekly and monthly financial reporting packages to management Managing staff in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and all accounting services Fixed assets management, financial statement reviews Process improvement, compliance with policies and procedures.  Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting. Preparation of annual budget and analysis - budget vs. actual for each period Many other related project duties 

 

 Requirements:  Accounting degree required.  A minimum of 5 years experience as a controller.  MUST HAVE  Great Plains, and FRx Reporting experience and be proficient with excel and word.  Ability to communicate effectively with employees and management team.  Self-starter.
